Chromebook Launch

Kia ora everyone, We had a lovely day on Wednesday the 23rd of March celebrating the launch of our chromebooks in Room 5.

Swimming sports

 Swimming sports was a great success.  Well done to the winning house group which was Kereru!  We have some talented swimmers and all the staff, parents and children thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We are learning to summarise a story.

Check out Roseena having a go at summarising her story.

Success criteria:  

1) Talk about the main characters.

2) Discuss the setting and where it happened

3) Discuss 3 main things that happened (at the beginning, middle and end).

Swimming lessons

Our swimming lessons started on Monday and it was lots of fun!  Swimming lessons this week will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (not Wednesday because of our school trip).  Here are some photos of the day.  Please don't forget to bring your togs and towel on these days.

Group 2:  Faith, Atanda, Amanda, Fetuli, Ngaire, Mya, Chelsea, Estherbella

Group 3:  Kelis, Antuarne, Mercedez, Chris, Kelis, Roseena, Emanuel, Ben, Sapphire.

Chrome books

Thank you to those parents who have contacted our office about purchasing your child a chrome book.  This year Room 5 along with Room 2 and Room 9 are digital immersion classes.  This is a fantastic opportunity.
