Farewell Ben
Kia ora everyone,
This morning at assembly Ben Spooner our Year 7 & 8 teacher and Associate Principal announced he would be retiring at the end of 2018. We will miss him and are so grateful to him for the positive contribution he has made to our school. I hope he takes pride in the fact that he has touched the lives of many of our students and we will miss his guitar playing in assemblies and wonderful sense of humor in the staffroom.

Senior School Sonshine Ranch trip
What a pleasure it was to take our Senior students to Sonshine Ranch in Clevedon. Sonshine Ranch is a Christian Outdoor Adventure Centre it combines the outdoors with adventure activities, horse riding, flying fox, rope swing, rock climbing and navigation through an outdoor tunnel. What a challenging but wonderful experience enjoyed by all. Check out one of our students having a go at the rope swing for the first time.
Thank you to the Papakura Presbyterian Church for their contribution to this trip. They not only send along wonderful helpers to assist on the field trip but are generous enough to subsidise the trip for our students.

We are learning to : Create something using a 3D printer
Kia ora everyone,
This is a quick look at a creation using a 3D printer. We were very lucky to have tutors from Auckland Libraries Kaylah and Ben teach us to use the Tinkercad software. You need to learn to use this software when creating something using a 3D printer.
Our Visit to Auckland Museum
A big thank you to the wonderful helpers at KPMG who provided a wonderful day at the Auckland Museum. Lots of lovely helpers, yummy cookies and a great day out for our Y4 - 6 students at Edmund Hillary School. We are soooo lucky!!
