Our inquiry topic this term is 'Culture'

What we have done so far.....we viewed a range of different Pacific and Maori art to incorporate into our pacific flower petals. This is how we are getting on so far. We used pencil to draw our patterns with a focus on detail. We then went over the patterns with black vivid. We photocopied our pattern 4 times and started dying the flower petals to inject some colour. We are in the final stages of arranging the flower and decorating it so it is 3 dimensional and stands out from the wall. Keep an eye out for our updates.

  9. Thank you Shavian. Next time we will be more careful about the colours we use and make sure we don't mix up our petals because if you look closely some petals don't match.

I like your artwork because your colours are wonderful and it is good to learn how to do your art so when you get older you can teach your kids art and be a art teacher and show other parents or kids.
